Job Description:
The VP, Social Strategy will lead social-first strategic thinking for a major consumer technology brand, providing culturally relevant insights and guiding daily social content strategy in close partnership with creative teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Develop and guide social-first strategy for consumer-facing technology products

Monitor social platforms and identify cultural trends, insights, and conversation opportunities

Partner closely with creative teams to inform and shape daily social content development

Provide strategic input to social "writers' room” style content creation environments

Translate cultural insights and social listening into actionable creative direction

Support fast-paced social execution while maintaining strategic alignment with brand goals

Collaborate with internal teams across time zones to ensure consistent social strategy
Requirements:

Must-Haves:
-
8 years of experience in social strategy, ideally at the VP or senior leadership level
-
Recent agency experience working with consumer-facing technology brands
-
Deep understanding of social platforms, internet culture, and "language of the feeds”

Strong background in cultural insights and social listening
-
Experience supporting B2C technology brands (software platforms or tech-driven services)

Ability to collaborate closely with creative teams and pivot quickly in fast-moving environments

Experience working within ambiguous environments and adapting to evolving priorities

Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week during core business hours
