Job Description:
Support release marketing efforts by translating product updates into clear, polished, and on-brand content.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Capture product updates from multiple teams and convert them into digestible content
- Review and refine AI-generated or draft content for accuracy, tone, and clarity
- Create and maintain release-related assets such as decks and summaries
- Edit short-form content including product updates, email copy, and blog-style content
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure content is aligned with priorities and brand voice
- Improve content workflows for consistency and quality across deliverables
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 2 years of experience in content marketing, product marketing, or editorial roles
- Experience working in software or SaaS environments
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to refine content
- Experience editing short-form content (emails, blogs, product updates)
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) with critical review
- Ability to work independently while remaining communicative and collaborative
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with marketing platforms or similar tools
- Familiarity with CMS, wiki platforms, or documentation systems
- Experience in release marketing or high-volume product update environments
- Portfolio showcasing relevant content work
- Freelancer/consultant experience with part-time flexibility
