Job Description:

Own GraphQL middle layer supporting frontend and backend services

Work across TypeScript frontend and PostgreSQL backend systems

Support and complete remaining work on customer online profile creation

Collaborate with adjacent teams (including Math team)

Participate in daily standups and regular sprint ceremonies
Requirements:
Must Haves
-
Apollo GraphQL Federation (Backend): Hands-on experience with federated schemas; must have written SDL and published schemas.

GraphQL Expertise:
-
Deep understanding of entities, scopes, contracts, authentication, and schema management in a GraphQL context.
-
Experience with GraphQL constructs like datasource, connector, and caching.
-
Hands-on experience in schema management: versioning, deprecation, persisted queries, etc.

TypeScript: Native, hands-on experience; not just JavaScript with types coerced. Must have worked with TypeScript build chain (tsc, esbuild, eslint).

Node.js (Server-side): Experience with microservices frameworks (preferably NestJS) and ORM (preferably Prisma).

Production Experience: All-hands-on, in production.

Development Best Practices: Understanding of design-time vs runtime type enforcement and inferencing; experience with monorepo management, build, and dependency tools.
