We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist to join a collaborative marketing team as dedicated execution support. This role will build and configure emails and journeys, validate audiences, and handle testing and deployment for campaigns across multiple business lines. The ideal candidate has hands-on SFMC experience, is comfortable working within templates, and is a strong communicator who enjoys working closely with a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and configure routine emails and simple to moderately complex journeys in Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Email Studio.
- Validate audience counts, inclusion criteria, exclusions, and suppression rules before approval.
- Complete rendering, link, personalization, and journey-path testing before deployment.
- Prepare campaign documentation and evidence for independent QA review.
- Support one-time sends and repeatable campaign requests across business lines.
- Create reusable templates, checklists, and implementation standards, and help catalog existing assets.
- Escalate custom code, integration, platform, and data issues to the appropriate technical owner.
- Partner with senior team members to take on build volume and relieve bandwidth across the team.
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
- Working knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Content Builder.
- Experience with data extensions, audience filters, and suppression logic.
- Familiarity with email testing and deployment procedures.
- Comfortable editing HTML within email templates (expert-level HTML or custom development not required).
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating openly with a small team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare or health insurance industry experience.
- Experience building reusable email templates or campaign checklists.
- Basic AMPscript or personalization scripting experience.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification.
