Job Description:
The Sr. Systems Analyst will work closely with business teams, developers, and vendors to provide systems analysis, QA, testing, and requirements gathering. This role requires a hands-on, ownership mindset to support multiple systems, integrations, and data flows.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business teams, developers, and vendors to identify and document system requirements.
-
Draft and finalize requirements documentation, user stories, and process flows for system enhancements.

Analyze and troubleshoot data and application issues; investigate root causes.
-
Perform manual testing: data setup, scenario validation, and functional test scripts.
-
Support backlog grooming, PI planning, and Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning).

Work across two lines of business:

Vending System: inventory, ordering, pricing, integration with warehouse and mobile.

Micro Markets: unmanned mini-markets, POS systems, vendor integrations, mobile ordering.

Read and understand SQL Server databases and stored procedures to verify outputs and data flow.

Collaborate with remote and onsite teams (1 dev onsite, others offshore) to coordinate testing and initiatives.

Mid-level SQL skills (queries, joins, reading stored procedures)

Experience with databases, integrations, and stored procedures

Ability to investigate data issues and perform root-cause analysis

Experience writing user stories, requirements, and process flows

Comfortable working in an Agile environment

Experience with manual testing / scenario validation / UAT

Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

Ability to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams
