About the Role
As one of the largest equipment rental companies in North America, with a massive operational footprint and an ongoing financial transformation initiative underway. They're kicking off a net-new Oracle EPM Planning Cloud implementation — no existing offshore team, no legacy baggage, greenfield build from the ground up.
This is a senior technical seat. You'll own the entire implementation: writing scripts from scratch, building data forms, data maps, business rules, and integrations. The split is 70–80% hands-on technical work and 20–30% functional. You'll work directly with the project manager as part of a lean onshore team being built from scratch — you are one of the cornerstone hires.
Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end build of a net-new Oracle EPM Planning Cloud implementation
- Write business rules, calc scripts, and custom scripting logic from scratch
- Design and build data forms, data maps, and complex integrations using Oracle Data Exchange
- Participate in design discussions, build POCs early, and support business validation cycles
- Eventually connect EPM with Oracle ERP Cloud during downstream releases
- Work in an agile delivery model — ship in iterations, not waterfall
- Flex across multiple project workstreams as priorities shift
Requirements:
- 8–10 years of hands-on Oracle EPM Planning experience (EPM Cloud / PBCS / EPBCS)
- Deep scripting expertise — business rules, data forms, data maps, integrations, transformations
- Strong SQL
- At least one net-new (greenfield) Oracle EPM Planning implementation under your belt
- Experience with Oracle Data Exchange; exposure to Oracle ERP Cloud integrations a plus
- Comfortable in agile, fast-moving consulting environments
- Local to the Charlotte / Fort Mill / Raleigh corridor — able to come onsite to Fort Mill as needed
- Nice to have: transaction matching, reconciliation modules
