Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Paid Search & Social to step into a highly visible client-facing leadership role supporting major consumer brands during a critical team backfill. This person will serve as the strategic lead across paid social and paid search initiatives, acting as the primary client point of contact while partnering cross-functionally with creative, CRO, and agency stakeholders.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior paid media leader who can quickly take ownership, bring proactive strategic ideas to the table, and confidently manage both client relationships and a small internal team with minimal direction.
Responsibilities
Lead paid media strategy across paid social and paid search accounts, with paid social as the heavier focus
Serve as the primary client-facing strategic lead, owning weekly client communication, recommendations, reporting, and thought leadership
Drive campaign strategy across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads, ensuring performance optimization and business impact
Partner with internal creative, CRO, and agency teams to align media strategy with broader growth initiatives
Provide proactive recommendations, testing ideas, and strategic guidance to clients
Support and mentor junior team members across paid social and search execution
Step into active accounts with minimal ramp-up and confidently own performance discussions
Lead QBR conversations from a paid media strategy perspective
Monitor performance data and provide actionable insights to optimize spend and ROI
Requirements:
7–10 years of paid media experience across paid social and paid search
Deep hands-on expertise in Meta and TikTok advertising
Strong paid search experience, including Google Ads and Performance Max strategy
Previous agency-side performance marketing experience strongly preferred
Experience serving as a primary client-facing strategist or account lead
Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
Prior people management experience, even in lighter leadership structures
Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment with minimal oversight
Client, DTC, ecommerce, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred
Experience with Triple Whale is a major plus
Strong collaboration skills across creative, CRO, and external agency partners
