Job Description:
Seeking a hands-on Manual Engineer to support testing efforts across robotic consumer products. This role will focus primarily on manual testing, defect validation, test case execution, and documentation review in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on robotic products and related consumer devices
- Execute, review, and update existing test cases
- Write new test cases as product features evolve
- Re-test defects and validate fixes
- Review technical documentation and feature requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams on feature validation
- Support testing efforts across multiple product lines as needed
- Work with abstract or evolving product requirements in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 1 years of experience in manual testing, internships, co-ops, or academic project experience accepted
- Exposure to robotics testing or robotics-focused projects preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Comfortable asking questions and adapting in a steep learning curve environment
- Experience working successfully on team-based projects
- Ability to take feedback well and demonstrate resilience
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and defect tracking skills
- Nice-to-Haves:
- FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) experience
- Robotics club participation or hands-on robotics projects
- Background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience testing hardware or embedded systems products
- Exposure to consumer electronics testing
