Job Description:
- This role supports an active AV conference room refresh project, providing hands-on hardware installation, device configuration, and end-user IT support across approximately 40 rooms at the client's Oak Brook facility.
Job Summary
- Swap out legacy AV and conference room hardware, installing new devices including Neat and Neat Center units
- Perform basic device configuration and plug-and-play setup for refreshed conference room equipment
- Troubleshoot AV and network connectivity issues to ensure all devices are properly connected and operational
- Manage and resolve incoming IT support tickets within defined SLAs using the client's ITSM platform
- Support end users across laptops, desktops, printers, and AV equipment
- Collaborate closely with the network team and one additional local support team member throughout the refresh project
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of IT support experience in a site, desktop, or field support capacity
- Hands-on experience swapping, installing, and connecting conference room AV equipment
- Basic AV and network troubleshooting skills, including verifying device network connectivity
- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, and printers
- Proficiency with an ITSM ticketing tool, managing tickets against SLAs (ServiceNow strongly preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with Neat devices, particularly Neat Center
- Experience in a Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) environment
- Familiarity with Dell hardware
- ServiceNow, Neat, or AV certifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter while also contributing as a collaborative team player
