Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise financial systems by ensuring accurate, compliant financial data across multiple source systems through GL configuration, FAH integrations, and financial reporting.
Job Summary
Configure and support Oracle General Ledger (GL), including Chart of Accounts, ledgers, calendars, journal imports, postings, allocations, revaluations, and translations.
Design, implement, and support Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) integrations for external systems, including configuration and maintenance of Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules.
Support inbound data integrations using FBDI, ADFdi, and/or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), validating and reconciling source system transactions against FAH and GL.
Perform subledger-to-GL and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with audit and SOX controls and maintaining clear audit trails.
Support financial reporting using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View, developing and maintaining trial balance, journal activity, and reconciliation reports.
Provide day-to-day production support by resolving journal errors, interface failures, and period-close issues.
Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes, improve data quality, and optimize accounting rules and system performance.
Minimum Requirements:
5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Financials, with required expertise in both Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and Subledger Accounting (SLA) configuration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with journal processing, period close activities, and accounting rule configuration.
Experience with data integrations using FBDI, OIC, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP and/or IFRS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with additional Oracle modules, including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Expenses.
Experience supporting payroll-to-GL integrations and working with upstream system owners.
Familiarity with BI Publisher security and reporting configuration.
Experience in audit- and compliance-driven environments, including SOX.
Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and financial reporting support.
