Job Description:
Provide frontline IT support for desktop systems, RF devices, printers, and warehouse technologies in a fast-paced distribution environment while ensuring timely issue resolution and exceptional customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and RF scanners
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and mobile device issues
- Configure, image, maintain, and repair IT equipment
- Support wireless networking and RF device functionality
- Respond to help desk tickets, calls, and voicemail requests promptly
- Escalate critical system issues impacting business operations
- Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records
- Coordinate with Systems Administrators and IT teams for issue resolution
- Support Office365, Outlook, Active Directory, and phone systems
- Deliver equipment to repair vendors and track all related activities
- Assist with DHCP, DNS, operating systems, and production application support
- Maintain documentation related to infrastructure, systems, and local processes
- Provide professional and courteous customer support while meeting service KPIs
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 1–3 years of related IT support experience
- Experience supporting desktop hardware, printers, and RF scanners
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware imaging
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office365, and Outlook
- Experience troubleshooting WIFI connectivity and networking issues
- Understanding of ticketing systems and help desk operations
- Ability to support mobile devices including Android and Windows-based RF units
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse environments
- Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
- Nice-to-Haves:
- ServiceNow experience
- Cisco or Avaya phone system knowledge
- Experience with WMS applications such as Manhattan or LogPro
- Experience in ecommerce, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
