Job Title: Financial Business Operations Specialist
Location-Type: Hybrid – Baltimore, MD (Monday–Thursday onsite) Must reside local to Baltimore, MD - No relocation at this time.

Compensation Range: $33–$37/hr W2

Job Description:
- Review financial recommendations, transactions, and daily operational processes to identify discrepancies and exceptions.
- Investigate operational issues, determine root causes, and coordinate with internal teams to drive resolution.
- Manage time-sensitive and urgent issues while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate recurring operational processes.
- Build and maintain Excel macros to streamline daily workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Communicate issues, findings, and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with Middle Office, Risk, and Control teams.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced financial operations environment.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in financial operations, business operations, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including hands-on experience creating macros and workflow automation.
- Experience investigating exceptions, discrepancies, or operational issues and determining root causes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage urgent, time-sensitive issues accurately and efficiently.
- Self-starter who is curious, independent, proactive, and comfortable asking questions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD Monday through Thursday.
