Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong marketing analytics expertise to support a growing data and analytics team focused on improving marketing attribution, KPI reporting, and enterprise marketing data workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing leadership and analytics teams to gather and translate business requirements
- Investigate and troubleshoot marketing data and attribution issues through root cause analysis
- Analyze ad spend performance and marketing KPIs including ROAS and attribution models
- Work with GA4, inbound lead platforms, and marketing data ecosystems
- Support migration efforts from BigQuery/Looker into Snowflake and Power BI environments
- Create user stories, document technical requirements, and manage Jira workflows
- Trace data issues across systems and identify gaps in reporting or attribution logic
- Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and other Client to improve reporting accuracy and processes
- Participate in standups and help prioritize and triage incoming requests from marketing stakeholders
- 3–7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in marketing analytics environments
- Strong understanding of attribution models including first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch attribution
- Experience working with marketing KPIs such as ROAS and campaign performance metrics
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and GA4
- Experience troubleshooting complex marketing data issues and performing root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of SQL and querying raw data in platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake
- Familiarity with Power BI and modern analytics/reporting tools
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and managing Jira boards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Virginia Beach, VA
- Experience with inbound phone call attribution or call tracking ecosystems
- Exposure to construction, home services, or lead-generation-focused industries
- Experience supporting enterprise data migration initiatives
- Familiarity with Looker or legacy marketing reporting environments
- Experience working in highly customized or fragmented ( "Frankenstein”) data ecosystems
