Job Description:
The Product Owner will drive backlog ownership and feature development for a modern SaaS-based payment facilitator platform, supporting a net-new build and scaling from early beta to production maturity.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Own and prioritize the product backlog for payment platforms and capabilities
-
Translate business and regulatory requirements into epics, user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria
-
Partner with engineering, risk, compliance, and operations to deliver compliant payment solutions

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, and demos
-
Track delivery progress and key performance metrics to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions

Support development of new modules including admin portal reporting, disbursements, chargebacks, and alternate wallet functionality
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

3–7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in payments, fintech, or financial services
-
Strong understanding of payment processing (cards, ACH, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks)

Experience in merchant services or payment facilitator environments

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira) and Figma
-
Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot or similar) to write requirements

Strong stakeholder communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
