Job Description:
Develop new features and maintain internal financial advisor platforms with a focus on backend Java development and front-end Angular components.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Build and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
-
Contribute to Angular front-end components (HTML, CSS, JS, TS)
-
Support advisor dashboard and internal systems via backend workflows
-
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to user stories, estimation, retrospectives, and refinement

Troubleshoot, test, and deliver clean, scalable code
-
Act as a proactive problem solver with minimal oversight
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

6-7 years of full-stack engineering experience
-
5 years of Java (Java 8 minimum, ideally 11 or 17)

3 years with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript

3 years of AWS cloud experience

Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices

SQL experience (writing scripts, data analysis, migration)

Agile environment experience using Rally or Jira

Own laptop or desktop ; strong written and verbal communication; self-starter mentality
