Job Description:
This role focuses on driving secure product development by integrating application security and DevSecOps practices into engineering workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design and implement application security and DevSecOps solutions
-
Integrate security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, API security) into CI/CD pipelines
-
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams on secure architecture
-
Manage vulnerability scanning and artifact management processes
-
Support compliance with security frameworks (NIST, OWASP, etc.)
-
Automate processes using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

3–5 years of application security engineering experience

Strong understanding of IAM concepts (RBAC, OIDC, SAML)

Experience with GitHub and source code management
-
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes

Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
-
Proficiency in at least two scripting languages (Python, Bash, Terraform)

Ability to read, edit, and understand code
-
Hands-on approach with strong initiative and problem-solving skills

Experience in financial services or fintech environments

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Experience with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
