About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) & Snowflake Solutions Architect to lead the customer data architecture for a new ecommerce initiative.
This is a greenfield environment where you will help design and build the systems used to collect, organize, secure, and activate customer and transaction data. You will serve as the lead AEP technical resource while designing the supporting Snowflake data architecture.
The ideal candidate has recently implemented AEP hands-on, has experience architecting ecommerce/customer data solutions, and understands how to connect AEP with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
What You'll Do

Lead the hands-on implementation and configuration of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

Design XDM schemas, datasets, customer profiles, identity resolution, audience segmentation, and destinations.

Architect the Snowflake environment used to store customer, transaction, ecommerce, and service data.

Design data models, tables, ingestion processes, and transformation logic.

Work with developers to ensure website, customer, and transaction data flows into AEP and Snowflake correctly.

Design integrations between AEP and Snowflake to support customer outreach, segmentation, analytics, and reporting.

Validate data quality and troubleshoot issues across systems and integrations.

Establish appropriate controls for sensitive customer information and PII.

Define data governance, privacy, retention, and access standards.

Document architecture, data structures, integrations, and technical processes.

Work independently on assigned deliverables while collaborating with developers, technical partners, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience with customer data architecture, marketing technology, ecommerce data, or enterprise data integration.

Strong, recent hands-on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementation experience.

Experience with AEP capabilities including:

Data ingestion and streaming

Hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse architecture.

Experience designing customer and transaction data structures for ecommerce, CRM, marketing, segmentation, or reporting.

Experience taking a complex data platform implementation from architecture/design through launch.

Strong SQL skills.

Working knowledge of JavaScript and JSON.

Experience validating data quality and ensuring accurate data movement between systems.

Understanding of PII, consent, data privacy, and secure customer data management.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing Snowflake environments, including data modeling, pipelines, streams/tasks, RBAC, and secure data sharing.

Experience with Snowflake data clean rooms and PII masking/access policies.

Python and/or dbt experience.

Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Journey Optimizer, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch/Data Collection, AEM, Campaign, Target, or Audience Manager.

Experience with website data collection and tag management.

Adobe Experience Platform and/or Snowflake certifications.
-
Previous greenfield implementation experience.

Experience working in consulting or client-services environments.
What We're Looking For
The strongest candidate will be an AEP/customer data platform architect who has recently built AEP solutions hands-on, understands ecommerce customer and transaction data, and can design the Snowflake architecture supporting that environment.
This is not purely a strategy or advisory position. You should be comfortable making architectural decisions and getting hands-on with the implementation.
